We got back home last night from our week long trip to visit my family in Missouri and man does it feel good! We had a wonderful time, and of course I already miss everyone and it seems impossibly quiet now.
My cousin Brianna got married on June 5th and was absolutely BEAUTIFUL as was her wedding and reception but I think after the heat and humidity of two back to back June weddings the Shalz clan has decided that there are to be no more summer weddings for this family {sorry for my part}!
Everyone loved getting to meet Amelia and catch up with Cheyenne and I. I would have guessed that being passed from person to person for 7 straight days would have made for an unpleasant baby but Amelia did really well {minus the heat rash & teething} and was a perfect angel on her plane rides...we must have a future world traveller on our hands!
I realized when going through my photos from the trip that I didnt take as many as I would have like {must have been having too good of a time} so I guess this means another trip is in order {maybe fall of 2011?}
