This year's trip to the pumpkin patch took place over the weekend and we had a ton of fun.
Unlike years past we forgo
Sauvie's Island Pumpkin Patch for
Bi-Zi Farms up in Washington which is a longer drive but worth it since Amelia had a fantastic time despite a cold and short nap.
We had a big group of friends {continuing the tradition of going with The God-Parents, David & Abigail} as well as my Granny which made it both festive and totally chaotic {what better way to start off the holiday season?}.
Amelia got to ride on her first pony and had her first hot cocoa {she now wants nothing more in life than to ride on ponies and drink cocoa}. She also got to pet and feed farm animals, play in a pit of corn {best thing ever} and most important she picked her very own pumpkin.
Pumpkin patch success!

.Climbing the hay pyramid. |
.Feeding goats with Granny. |
.This is Amelia & Kylie. Their grandmas {Sherri & Cinda} were childhood friends, their mothers {Nichole & Nicole} were childhood friends, and now it would seem so are they. I love this. |
.We thought she might be scared up on the pony all by herself....we we wring. VERY wrong. |
.When I was in kindergarten we went on a field trip to another students farm and we got to play in a grain bin full of corn kernels, it was so great that 25 years later I still think about it at least once a week. Amelia seems to have the same love of "Scrouge McDuck-ing" in corn. |
.Hot cocoa? Check. Servant Grandmother? Check. Let's go get a pumpkin! |
.It wouldn't be a trip to the pumpkin Patch in the Pacific Northwest without some gnarly clouds overhead. |
