Honey Bee Shower

Yesterday we was my adorably sweet honey bee themed baby shower and it was wonderful! The garden party room at Elephants is at it's best this time of year with the fire lit and boughs of evergreen everywhere it's so cozy and pretty without being obnoxious. The bee theme was carried through from the invites, favors, thank you cards, and even the menu (check out the pictures of the honey flavored beehive cupcakes for an example).
We played the obligatory games which wasn't nearly as horrible as it sounds (don't you just hate those showers with the same games, punch, and cake?) and everyone had a lot of fun - smiles and laughter dominated the afternoon.
Of course we got many wonderful, sweet, and thoughtful gifts from our loving friends, including a handmade quilt by Amanda's grandmother (how kind is that?!). Needless to say Cheyenne and i are so grateful and I am so happy that i was able to share such a great day with my family and best friends.
