.A day at the zoo.

After my in-laws left we had a couple of days before my mom came into town and we decided to make the most of our quiet time as a family of four. To reward Amelia for being such a great big sister and because the time away from us was pretty hard on her we took her to her favorite place on Earth for a day of fun. As usual every animal that we visited came right up to her, I have no idea what she's doing but no matter how many or few people are at each exhibit as soon as Amelia arrives whatever animal is on display will come right up to her and just seems to relax in her presence.
 Her latest favorite animal isn't something beautiful and exotic...oh no, it's the hen at the petting zoo! She spent 30 minutes in a total trance while stroking the chicken. Who knew?
