Some people bribe their kids with candy and the like. We are not those people. And Amelia? She's not the kind of kid that would care anyway. What's the "big gun" that we use? The library. Homegirl goes totally ape for books {when was the last time you heard that sentence? Oh, only never.} and the library is sort of her version of Nirvana.
After a harrowing naptime fiasco yesterday I decided that a walk was needed for both of us to cool off and I found myself steering us toward the library. We left 20 minutes later with 16 books and 2 smiles.
