It's the end of what has felt like a really long week {I think the week after vacation always feels painfully long}. Tonight we're having our friends David & Abigail over for "drinks and nibbles". We always have the intention of playing board games or card games but once we get to talking and the cocktails come out we only have a 50% success rate of actually getting the games out before we realize that it's incredibly late and that we've been talking and laughing for hours and all need to go to bed.
Abigail likes to lay claim to Amelia's existence because she was the one that threw the party & played bartender the night in May when I had a few greyhounds a couple of years ago. As a fun play on a long running joke/theme we like to break out the ole greyhound from time to time. Since tonight will be no exception I'll share a recipe for a twist on the classic. Enjoy!
